WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUSINESS CONSULTING AND ADVISORY?
If you are having a problem, either I’ve experienced it before and I will propose solutions and let you carry out the work yourself (advisory), or I may take on the project myself or with your team (consulting). Generally, the relationship with an advisor is longer-term, whereas a consultant may come on to push through a specific initiative. I’ve had short-term advisory clients and long-term consulting clients. I guess I’m a real rule breaker! It depends on what you and your company need.
CONTRACTS AND NDAS
Most clients will be sent a contract which can be e-signed. If you would like an NDA I always recommend you get it directly from your lawyer. If that’s not an option for you at the moment, you can let me know.
If you are not comfortable with legal jargon–tell me so! I’m happy to go over your contract with you.
PAYMENTS
I’ll send you an invoice along with your contract, it’s payable via e-transfer to my email. You can let me know if you prefer to use your name or your company name.
CAN I HIRE YOU AS MY BUSINESS COACH?
No I am not a coach. My focus is less on you as an individual/leader and more on the success of your company. We don’t speak about things like your fears or your mindset. I am a true consultant at heart– I won’t try to guide answers from you, I will tell you what I think you should do and why.
